With the re-contextualization of pre-existant vernacular photographs, come a plethora of new modes and meanings in regard to the individual image: Narrative and history itself are an ever evolving contemporary construct, product to our current ideologies and modern mindset in regards to how we identify ourselves and the "path" we are moving on. In just this we look at what is redundant and antiquated, but in a renewed contemporary meaning.  (The past is constructed in the now.)

In this series, I resurrect an archive of familial negatives, (Ca. 1928 - 2006 ) and reinstitute their initial history and meanings, to create new ones. In this, lays the subjectivity and impermanence of life and meaning itself.
